The Sunday Currently vol. 1
I have been reading lots of "The Sunday Currently" posts for a while now but I haven't really had the chance to come up with my own. I was on blogging hiatus for a couple of months because there had been loads of changes going on in my life lately. Change is good, right? But I am also craving for some sense of stability. Well, today, I am finally linking up with Lauren and I'm just gonna write away what has been happening lately.
On this Sunday, I am currently...
Reading nothing in particular, but in the past weeks, I read Dan Brown's novels - The Lost Symbol and Inferno. The latter is a chilling read, troubling even. So now, I am looking for a light read - something funny or romantic. Any suggestion?
Writing stuff to do this week. I am so bad at remembering things so I make sure I note down important tasks and appointments. I feel good whenever I get to cross out an item!
Listening, from time to time, to a compilation of my favorite songs on Spotify. Mostly from the 90s and OSTs of Serendipity and Grey's Anatomy.
Watching The Return of Superman (on Youtube). For those of you who are not familiar with this show, it is a Korean reality program that features Korean celebrity dads spending 48 hours with their children without the help of their wives. Every episode overflows with cuteness!
Smelling coffee.
Wearing a loose shirt and comfy shorts. I've been home practically all day.
Thinking of fresh starts and second, third, nth chances.
Wishing for Christmas to come sooner. It was decided that my family's going to celebrate the holidays at my place - I am so looking forward to it!
Hoping to receive a good news this week! A job offer, maybe? :D
Loving the fact that a cloud always has a silver lining and there is light at the end of the tunnel. The past few months have been all about trying to find a different path to take, career-wise. I was almost about to give up, to just settle. Now I know that everything good in life really takes patience, so we must always just move forward.
Wanting to have more time to be creative - to join calligraphy and watercolor workshops.
Needing a nice weekend getaway. Maybe somewhere north, like Baguio or Vigan. A weekend at the beach would be nice, too. I badly need some legit rest and relaxation.
Feeling so much hopeful. I believe surprises and blessings are on their way.
Clicking some really interesting news articles from all over the web. We don't have a television here at home, so reading articles online is my only way of keeping abreast of current events.
*Photo above was taken by my friend, Jeong Seung Hwa. It's pretty and makes me miss Korea so so much!

Oh I love the return of superman too specially the triplets
